Done this for the new Firestick 4k Max and on network settings it doesn’t come up as wired connection being an option, it only comes up as WIFI, tried to search online but can’t find anything that solves it, can anyone help?

I only 65 inch Samsung I bought in 2018 and I had to fiddle around with the CEC on the TV but it works perfectly with my fire stick 4K. Thanks for the tip.

Generally use Firestick remote but phone app useful if text needs to be entered, eg web page addresses or passwords. Occasionally use TV remote.

I downloaded 2 apps off downloader and cannot locate them in the apps to move them. Previously, I could find a freshly downloaded app and then move it forward. Recently, the new apps disappear.

What's happened to the tv app

Hey Adam I realise this was posted quitre a while ago, and this question has been asked a million times (but I can't see it!)....but is there any way 'now' of removing Amazon Apps from a Firestikc 4K? Or have Amazon blocked this from happening completely? No matter how much cache I clear, I can only clear 600Mb of the 5Gb stick storage and cannot download and install my Nord VPN app I plugged in a 8Gb USB and have tried to move as many files to that as possible, but that is as far as I've got Hope you, or someone, can help???

I deleted the old version as google TV didn't update us but it wasn't working previously as trying to navigate the website using the remote with uo,down left,right just made the curser to top left top right and so on. Couldn't scroll or anything. I was really hoping this would fix it as I've been using tvbro. But it didn't. I have no idea why as tvbro a similar but more traditional browser for TV worked fine. Looks like I need to pay reddit a visit. Thanks anyway matey

Hello Adam, do you find that you can still access Paramount+ via a VPN? It's just as the season is starting again shortly I was checking and can't access Paramount+ with a VPN anymore! So not sure if it's a setting that is wrong or they've blocked VPN access! Thank you.

Help Adam.. just got the ‘cookie option’ (2 August’24) but it appears to have jammed up my stick.. can’t accept or decline can’t move anything.. I’ve checked another stick which appears ok but I’ve no idea what to do with the ‘blocked’ one 😮🤷

i live in spain just got the xiaomi tv stick 4k find it works better than 3 gen amazon firestick but not as good as my 4k amazon firestick max but the price over here is 39 euros for the xiaom tv stick 4k is good what do you think

The irony being there are trying to uninstall the most used apps not the rarely used apps and even when the auto offload is turned off the system is still uninstalling the apps used most. Amazon need to sort this out quickly.

First off I LOVE your videos and have been subscribed to your channel for a LONG time! I myself use a Fire Cube 3rd gen that has 16Gb of storage with an external SD card mounted to USB port so storage is NOT really an issue for me. BUT, having used Firesticks in the past they were SO limited on storage this "offload" feature would have been handy then. I personally do NOT use this feature as I still have 40% free space on my Cube but I have read this "offload" feature works well and will actually offload apps you've use just days ago. I think this has to do with the settings where you turn OFF app tracking/usage OFF. I personally have all data monitoring and tracking app usage turned OFF as Amazon "tracks" enough info as it is!
